Introducing our handheld portable LED flounder gigging light perfect for enhanced visibility of anything you want to gig during the night. Portability
Portable, handheld, lightweight, battery-powered, and versatile, the light itself weighs just under 12 ounces. Other flounder lights on the market run off 12 V batteries requiring you to carry a cumbersome backpack alongside a bulky light when wading in the dark. For flounder gigging, this portable flounder gigging light favors speed and precision and allows you to wade stealthily through the flats always ready to spear at a moment’s notice.
Capacity
Each battery lasts roughly 1 hour of run time, and with 2 batteries it will last 2 hours. Purchase additional batteries with the light if you plan to use this longer than 2 hours on a single trip. You can always purchase additional batteries here.
High-Intensity
In this lighthead, we use an incredibly bright Cree XML L2 chip putting off 1200 lumens. 1200 lumens is equivalent to 1 of your car headlights on high. We offer differing reflectors depending on your application. Beam angle varies from a spot reflector at 38°, a medium flood reflector at 48°, or a wide flood reflector at 58°. Multipurpose
The lighthead can be used as a dive light, a casting light, a trolling light, or anywhere a self-contained fully waterproof deep submersible light is needed. Fish are attracted to underwater lights making this a perfect fishing accessory.
Design
There is no exposed metal to corrode as everything is embedded in a special waterproof resin. The portable flounder gigging light uses Cree’s 2nd most powerful LED, the Cree XML L2 U2 binned led (10 Watts-1260lumens). There is a 1/4″ hole right through the 6061 aluminum head for direct water cooling, or putting a fishing line through for casting/trolling. Completely corrosion-resistant and waterproof we design and test these in the most extreme environments. The light is rated to be waterproof up to 1000′ deep and can be used in all water conditions.
Instructions
To use, remove the expansion plug and the battery holder slides right into your hand. Next, put in the battery and plug the battery pack to the lighthead. Finally, put the battery compartment inside the lighthead compartment and seal with the stainless steel rubber expansion plug on the end of the PVC.

- (2) – New Samsung commercial-grade 3amps/hr, 18650 lithium-ion batteries. These are the safe non-exploding batteries, unlike the lithium polymer which can explode and burn and the ones you hear about. These are very safe even if dropped into the water.
- (1) – Gigging 1″ Snap connector head for 1/2″ PVC pipe. You supply the thin wall pipe.
- (1) – Stainless steel rubber expansion plug good for extreme depths up to 1000′ deep.

Warranty
We include a 2-year warranty for this light alongside the accessories. Warranty is voided if the light is run out of the water and activates our 120° F thermal sticker.
