Cree XML LED Submersible Boat Gigging Light
Introducing our Cree XML LED Submersible Boat Gigging Light, capable of illuminating a huge area with our differing reflector options. We stand out from competitors due to our affordability and industry-leading lumen per dollar ratio.
High-Intensity
Built with (6) Cree XML LED 10 Watt chips, this submersible boat gigging light illuminates 7560 lumens in approximately 7k color temperature of bright white. Beam angle depends on the reflector you choose. Increase your visibility of flounder, frog, fish, or anything in the water for fishing, bowhunting, lobstering, floundering, shrimping, frog gigging, flounder gigging, etc.. Additionally, the increased visibility can protect you from dangerous aquatic life, such as poisonous snakes, stingrays, jellyfish, etc..
Submersible
Epoxy embedded, our flounder boat gigging light is completely submersible in saltwater and freshwater conditions. Corrosion-resistant, this light is able to thrive in the harshest saltwater environments. Built into the lighthead is a thermal protection switch that turns off the lighthead when it gets above 110°F. In case the lighthead is operated out of the water, the switch protects the LEDs from overheating either damaging or breaking the light. We recommend always operating the light underwater anyways to extend the life of the LEDs as heat shortens their lifetime. These LEDs last over 40,000 hours and at 4 hours of use a day, this will last for 27 years.
Proper Use
- Ensure the light is always being run underwater as it will overheat and damage the LEDs.
- Do not run this light when connected to a charging 12V battery. When actively charging voltage increases to 14.5 VDC and this light will fail if run at this power.
- Should only be run at 12-13.5 VDC operation from a stand-alone fully-charged battery (not being actively charged by motor)
